It looks for the 20th Time The Competition will have seen operation in the 10th Decade of the 20th Century, the 1st & 2nd Decades of the 21st Century & became Video Programming in this 2nd Decade.
It is not only FT XX, but the 20th Anniversary of this competition. The 1st Contingent of Contestants have entered their 30s.
I took a look at the areas of Queens covered, by the NYPD Precincts the competitions occurred in. Eight of them took place in the confines of the 104 Precinct, taking place at Christ The King High School, once, Sacred Heart-East Glendale in 1993, 1996, 1999, & 2003. There was one held in St. Pancras in 1994 & twice at Resurrection-Ascension. Two took place in the confines of the 102 Precinct(St. Mary Gate Of Heaven in 2000 & 2001), one in the confines of the 110 Precinct(St. Adalbert's in 2004) & one in the confines of the 75 Precinct(The LI 197- Msgr Sherman 5103 Historical Joint Venture). There have been a total of 7 Competitions in the confines of the 112th Precinct, in 1997, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2011. 2012 looks to be the 8th Time it is held in Forest Hills.
It was in 2005 when under Ralph Kleeman's Chairmanship that the Free Throw found a new direction. Of course, a trip to my old Brooklyn Neighborhood, breathed new life into the competition. Blessed Sacrament Parish Centre on Pine Street, was home to the Greatest Competition in St. Sylvester Council's History. So it is appropriate that Msgr. Sherman Council 5103 should do the same thing. From that competition one Keandra Leong, age 11, won the NY State Final of the Knights of Columbus Free Throw. She came from Our Lady of Mercy in Forest Hills. So, from 2006 onward, the competition moved to PS 101Q in Forest Hills, Queens, under Our Lady of Mercy Recreation's Supervision & Cooperation. Many memories come from this location.
In 2011, the historic Video Coverage over various Video Sharing Services, came from this competition. It was also the 1st Competition Coverage ever to appear on services other than YouTube. 6487 Viewers watched Preliminary, Council, District, Queens County & Long Island Final Competitions over various networks. With 28 K of C Jurisdictions using YouTube, only the 5103, District 28, Queens County & Long Island Competitions were carried outside of YouTube, for the 1st Time in K of C Free Throw History. And these were full competitions & not a couple of highlights slapped together.
Kayla Petrowicz is the "Rock Star" of the blip.tv coverage, while Jason Camus is the "Rockstar" of the Vimeo.com Coverage. It is proof that this competition has moved beyond the YouTube Stage.
Now, THAT Is Good News.

Mike Cameron was moved to RF in 2005 & had an unfortunate accident in Petco Park in San Diego, by colliding head on with CF Carlos Beltran. What I am saying is that Mike Cameron is an accident waiting to happen.
I wonder Whose Brilliant Idea it was to sign an Accident Waiting To Occur.

The New Media Is More Than YouTube

In actuality, YouTube is actually YOUNGER than Vimeo.com, by 4 Months. But, you see, Vimeo ALWAYS stressed Quality.
You Tube says "Broadcast Yourself." You Tube, like the older America Online or AOL, is a "Newbie" location. One can only produce so many videos of "A-Hole-Ian Quality".
But Vimeo actually brings us a video service, where people do take things to the next level. When the Long Island Final of the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Int'l Basketball Championship was webcast for the 1st Time, Vimeo was chosen as the primary network, to give that event the dignity & importance it deserves. Vimeo received 258 Views of both competition & points of interest involving this contest. It was time to go beyond YouTube. Dailymotion.com also garnered views as the Companion Network. This network garnered 178 Views. Thus, this combination proved that YouTube.com is not the only video service. The Free Throw no longer needs YouTube to grow as video programming.

I enjoy working in front of The Camera. Now, on a micro-budget, I work behind it as well.
The iPod Touch 4G made this possible, especially with various video editing apps. If anything, the District28 Queens, NY Knights of Columbus Free Throw Int'l Basketball Championship, was produced in HD 720p for The 1st Time & carried over 3 Video Networks, without ever having to load this onto The Apple eMac & the older edition of iMovie. Instead, the competition was sent directly over Wi Fi to DailyMotion, YouTube & iVideo.ie. With the video editing app, Splice, the competitions were edited & sent over the web.
DailyMotion gave us a new perspective, proving that one doesn't need YouTube to be successful, outdoing YouTube by 2.5/1. DailyMotion was also transmitted via Facebook & RTL.be. Ditto, iVideo.ie! But, for '12, main coverage will be handled via the servers of blip.tv, Vimeo.com, tumblr.com & DailyMotion.com, all based in Manhattan.
This being a Queens Based Production Operation, all server operations will be a NewYork Operation, except for ShowYou, Posterous & VodPod, which come out of San Francisco, CA. tumblr.com will either take a native feed or one via Posterous. Splice, Vimeo & Videolicious will be production apps.

I Realize That This Is An Ancient Topic

But, if anybody has ever been seated in the Blue Grandstand Seats of Fenway Park or even in the Red Seats by Pesky's Pole, one will feel a need to visit one's Chiropractor in the Not Too Distant Future. Hence, ballparks like PNC Park, Citizen's Bank Ballpark & Citi Field, with closeness to the field, and wide concourses, make for far fewer trips to Health Care Providers.
For people of my parents' era, Ebbets Field had seating which was close to the field of play, but the seating was cramped &, yes, there were columns obstructing views. In my era, Shea Stadium in Corona, Queens, did have a certain charm like cyclonic breezes(Lol) but wider seats, though the Upper Level was so high up, one could end up on a 1st Name Basis with Pilots arriving at La Guardia Airport. Hence, with the exterior & Rotunda built, Citi Field could resemble Ebbets Field, but with much wider seats, wide concourses and knowledgeable Baseball Fans. It was in part, patterned after PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA(The Hometown of Mr Lawrence Lucchino, Esquire). And I had plenty of room to maneuver, without the fear of tumbling down several rows, unlike Shea Stadium.
But, people talk about "Old Time Charm" in regards to both Fenway Park & that North Side of Chicago Relic, Wrigley Field. Now, JUST WHAT is so charming about a ballpark, where netting is needed to keep concrete from falling on spectators(Wrigley Field)? About Outfield Grandstand at Fenway-if it wasn't for tv monitors tuned to NESN or FOX or ESPN, it would be hard to follow a game. And without a breeze, it can be rough. And the place is narrow in the aisles. Perhaps, my most comfortable seat came when I was sold a seat in the Wheelchair Row. The Folding Chair was infinitely more comfortable and roomy than any seat in the Blue Grandstand. I had some room(Red Sox-Braves & a 2 1/2 Hour Rain Delay).

YouTube will be used as a "By Coverage" Network during LI Final & Queens County Competitions. By Coverage drew quite well on YouTube. It, however, will NOT be used at all for Primary Network Coverage. blip.tv is primary network for Council, Queens & LI Final. Noticing That The "Marriage Equality Law"

Was passed at Night, one could take Notice that more often than not, acts of Evil often take place at Night.
Those who commit Evil Acts, prefer to do so in Darkness, so they cannot be seen.
WHY do I get the Nauseating Feeling that this Gay Marriage Bill was passed for the Benefit of The Trial Lawyers Association? Hey, certain people stand to make a bundle in Divorce Proceedings. And it will give a whole new meaning to the phrase "The Gay Divorcee." Will Someone In Hollywood be interested in an updated remake of that film classic?
The thing is, by the nature of Homosexual Relationships, these relationships are generally not monogamous because of much promiscuity involved in Homosexual Behavior.
There are Gays who oppose this bill mainly because it is not economically good for them. They realize the "Marriage Penalty" in regards to the Income Tax.
Meanwhile, while some upstate NY Towns & Cities are economic disaster areas(Ghost Towns in some cases), Governor Andrew Cuomo pushes intensely for Gay Marriage, which benefits only the Trial Lawyers(Ambulance Chasers) & Residents of a few areas(Cherry Grove on Fire Island, NY, The West Village, Parts of Kew Gardens, Parts of Forest Hills & Parts of Jackson Heights in Queens), as well as Progressive Political Legacy of Andrew Cuomo.
Andrew, like his father Mario before him & in the case of Joe Addabo Jr, like his Father, Joe Sr before him, are Catholics in name only.

I read up on this & found out that the SC H Principal of that time, is a member of The Leadership Council of Women Religious, a group of Nuns who hold to the Radicalism which caused for an incredible lack of Vocations over the last 40+ Years. These Women are holding out for Priestly Ordination of Women, which is forbidden by Canon Law. My advice to these ladies is "Don't Hold Your Breath, waiting for this to occur-it won't, unless you become Broad Church Anglicans."
And that wing of Anglicanism is spinning their wheels in mud, in short, a Church of no real growth.
The Middle-Late 1960s to Middle 1970s are really the period of time, which set the stage for the explosion of Catholic Sponsored Schools Closings & Mergers.

In 1967

After the Big Encounter Group Experiment, The IHM Nuns got totally away from their traditional practices, infuriating James Francis Aloysius Cardinal McIntyre, Archbishop of Los Angeles. Of 380 Nuns, all of whom were barred from teaching in the RC Archdiocese of Los Angeles by order of Cardinal McIntyre(Ordained originally for the RC Archdiocese of New York, BTW), 315 left the IHM Order. It was the start of what is occurring today, where Catholic Schools often have no religious on their staffs, which has led to the closing of or mergers of Catholic Schools.
And to realize that certain WASPS(White Anglo Saxon Protestants), like The Rockefellers, were funding these "Therapies" in order to ruin the Church-they had(& still have) a fear of a Catholic Ascendancy.
Please do read CultureWars.com & an article by E. Michael Jones in regards to the Psychological Experiments by Drs Carl Rogers & Dr William Coulson. Coulson now travels the US, warning Catholic & Protestant Groups about the Dangers of "Encounter Groups" & "Sensitivity Training."

I Do Like Dailymotion

This Video Sharing Service is huge in Europe. It is also becoming a destination for North Americans to share videos, who will avoid You Tube. It is not cluttered & has quality programming. I have no problem with it.

I have seen great programming on YouTube. It is just that I have seen too much idiocy on that service. YouTube is just a bit too much of People Following The Crowd.
Hence, I like both blip.tv & Vimeo.com, where the quality is higher & both tend to have a more discerning audience.
Besides, I don't need to have the Documentary Series, "The Last Lock", parodied.

It Could Be Worse

St. Sylvester School-City Line, Brooklyn, was merged with two other Northeast Brooklyn Schools. It continues as part of Salve Regina Academy.
But, as of this Friday, June 24th, '11, in Staten Island, part of the RC Archdiocese of New York, St. Sylvester School in Concord, Staten Island, is closing for good. Apparently, there were no merger plans like there were in the RC Diocese of Brooklyn.

For the purpose of survival & the possibility to thrive, the 3 Parishes will now jointly administer the new school arrangement.

Back in June, 1991, I received New York State Certification as a Peace Officer. I had the Only A Grade in the Class. It has been used in effecting a couple of Arrests in 1995.
Until a couple of hours ago, when I used the training in a Comedy Skit, to be seen on Shrunkenheadsproductions.com, in August, it is part of Physical Comedy. You'll be surprised at how much is said without words. See the video in August.

And, since Dailymotion is the #2 Video Service in the World, it is good for gaining views of videos.
When you upload your videos, your videos stay in the order you upload them on the app(Unlike YouTube). That makes it easy to keep your video collection in order, to track your videos.

Up2blip is $1.99 at iTunes App Store & can upload your productions, rather rapidly. All you need is a blip.tv account & you are in business.
And all videos render in H.264 & are viewable on your iDevice except for the current Nano, though it is an iOS device.

Viddler Does Work On The iPhone

If you have the SkyFire Browser App, which allows videos in Adobe Flash, to play on your iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch, you have an interesting app & is worth the $1.99 you pay for it.
I happen to like a video sharing service called Viddler. I also upload videos to it from the iPod Touch 4G. Uploading I find to be a snap on Viddler, but Videos encode as in Adobe Flash.
So, I purchased the SkyFire Browser App, which converts Flash Video to play.
The Video is a bit choppy but, if you want to watch a Viddler Video or other Flash Videos, you need SkyFire.

YouTube The Only Show In Town? Do You Live On This Planet?

The Latest K of C Free Throw Viewing #s are in & YouTube is NOT The Big Draw. Not Even Close! Of 5869 Views, only 798 Views are on YouTube, or 13.6%. Thus, YouTube, as far as #s go, is not even close to majority.
With iVideo.ie which is registered to Cork in The Republic of Ireland, but the Servers are in Houston, TX, 3167 Views came via that Service. Vimeo.com, mostly noted for Artistic Videos, has 726 Views, much of it for Historical & Artistic Aspects of the Competition Coverage. Dailymotion has 689 Views & it is carrying this series of competitions for the 1st Time in History. Also new is blip.tv in this realm, at 440 Views, with #s growing for Long Island Final Coverage. The insignificant views on Viddler.com, do move upward on occasion. It is the YouTube #s which tend to stay the same for long periods of time, moving rather slightly.
Then again, think about this-many people would rather NOT watch everything on YouTube with the heavily cluttered interface. Over 5K did not view the YouTube Coverage, which is significant. As the coverage #s approach 6K views, YouTube is becoming less significant in #s & %s of views & viewers.
And for K of C Councils looking to webcast the Free Throw, this guide I believe, will be helpful in helping Councils to make the best choices in Video Coverage. The Free Throw doesn't need YouTube. It can get greater viewing #s elsewhere.

No Alcoholic Beverages on MTA Long Island Railroad Platforms On Saturday, June 11th, 2011

Because of the 3rd Leg of Horse Racing's Triple Crown Series, & with the report of humongous crowds at Belmont Park Racecourse in Elmont, Nassau County, NY, just across the Border from Queens Village, no beer or other alcoholic beverage will be permitted on MTA Long Island Railroad Trains.
It can be explained as a day to prevent a lot of Drunken N'er Do Wells from either getting into fights, or being maimed or acting like a--holes in general. Over 100K are expected for the Belmont Stakes Race, going off after 6PM, EDT on NBC Sports.
Stay home & watch it on NBC-You'll see more.

Well, I Don't Think There Will Be Baseball In The Bronx This Evening

Let's put it this way-the outdoor temperature is 97•F &, suddenly, you feel a cooling in the air. Simply put, a Cool Front will be crossing, courtesy of a Good Old Fashioned Thunderstorm.
Things keep getting cooler outside. Lightning dances around near you. Skies get dark. And it rains a lot.

But, you are cooled off. You cried about The Extreme Heat & Humidity. Now there is relief. But, there is a trade off-it is called No Baseball.
A Half a Beer is better than none.
But, I was wrong, as Baseball resumed with 1st Pitch at 10:30PM. Yankee Stadium III is still crowded & the Yankees lead the Red Sox, 2-0 at the end of the 1st Inning.
The Game is on WWOR9. For we who follow the Carmine Hose, having in NY to follow the Game with YES(Yankees Entertainment SUCKS) Commentators, amounts to 4 Hours of Sheer Torture. And to think that WWOR9 was the Longtime Home of The NY Mets!
Red Sox behind the Yankees 2-0 at this point.
Then by the 7th Inning, CC Sabathia fell apart & the Red Sox Won 8-3.
FUN!

Dior & 5 Star Comedy

As an ensemble, it's a great show. Imagine being in a Greenwich Village Bar. It was funny & I met some nice people.
Only the Greenwich Village Bar was in South Jamaica, a few blocks from St. Albans Naval Hospital.
But, it was fun with a comedian named Dior & Photographer Martin Bentzen.
I had Jerk Chicken for final meal. Never had it before. It was spicy & delicious.
Made a few amigos & amicas. It was worth it.

How NY Mets Fans React to Red Sox-Yankees

By & Large, in fact, OVERWHELMINGLY, as is the NY National League Tradition, Despising the NY Yankees is almost as old as the Dodgers-Giants Feud, which began before Brooklyn became part of New York City.
I am a Red Sox Fan with a New York National League Pedigree., for my Yankees Despising Tradition was born in Shea Stadium, now a site of the Citi Field Parking Lot. I have a sense of pain watching a team becoming somewhat of a nonentity because of an ownership, most noted for meddling in Baseball Operations(Jeffy), as well as investing with some dude named Bernie From Far Rockaway. Prior to that ownership, it was the Chintzy Actions of one M. Donald Grant, a managing partner, who forced the trade of now Hall Of Famer, George Thomas "Tom" Seaver, on Thursday, June 15th, 1977. NY Mets Fans then ran this version of ownership out "On A Rail", & I am not talking about the Long Island Railroad. Hence, I grew up in a Rebel Tradition of Baseball.
So, for Dustin Pedroia & Papi Ortiz to have Freddy Garcia for lunch last evening in Toilet III, is so satisfying.
But, Jon Papelbon has to stop doing his impersonation of Armando Benitez on the mound. Armando used to send Mets Fans into fits. Mets Fans who may come here to read this, you know what I am talking about.

Apple Will Soon Start Allowing Updates of iOS Devices Over The Air

At one time, my Macs were the Main Machines. Ditto, the PCs before them! But now, Apple has built a better mobile contraption which can operate as a main machine.
Case in point-Lansdowne126-MMD Productions produced two rounds of the Knights Of Columbus Free Throw Basketball Championship. The 1st Two Competitions were filmed with the iPod Touch 4G & then synchronized with the eMac, running Mac OS 10.5.8. By The Next 3 Rounds, with the right apps, including the Splice App, the Vimeo App, Dailymotion App & up2blip App, connecting with the desktop became a thing of the past, as coupled with a great Wi Fi Spot, segments of coverage were sent straight from this iPod Touch to the web. The 3rd Production was done entirely in 720p HD on Dailymotion & YouTube, without ever going anywhere near the eMac. Now with all my web video networks w/apps, hooking into the main box is totally unnecessary.
The iPhone/iPad & iPod Touch 4G are independent machines. Let's keep it that way. By Jobs, He's Got It!

In Reality, The YouTube Free Throw #s, Are Boosted By VodPod

To the tactical brains who stated to me that YouTube is the ONLY Place on the web to get good stats for the Knights Of Columbus Free Throw, it is quite-obvious that you've been reading the New York Post a little bit too often. Apparently, you never read the New York Times, where you may actually read about DailyMotion, Vimeo or blip.tv.
The "Must Carry On You Tube Order" is based on listening to ILL-Informed People, who have a limited view of the world, let alone their own neighborhood. I recently worked on Entertainment Projects in Now-Tony Areas of Brooklyn & see that Borough, where I Was Born & Raised, going through Rather-Dramatic Changes. "The Williamsburg Effect" is now taking hold in the neighborhood where Ebbets Field was located. Sure, "Dem Bums", The Dodgers are now in La La Land, but a creative community is taking shape over in that part of Brooklyn. With the web taking over for television, shows are being filmed for the New Media. And Producers are NOT all embracing You Tube, either. One woman named Amanda, introduced me to Vimeo.com, where I post my videos. Hence, when I produced coverage of the Knights Of Columbus International Free Throw Basketball Championship, coverage did very well for the one round it was on blip.tv. By-Coverage did very-nicely on Vimeo.com, as well as coverage of the Long Island Final Coverage. Overall coverage did nicely on Dailymotion.com. With coverage doing nicely on those outlets, is YouTube Really NEEDED? From the job these networks did, YouTube is NOT needed at all. YouTube is a waste of time, except that it is the place which a cadre of "Soccer Moms From Hades", demanded we use for their purpose of "#s Jacking."
In one round, 550 Viewers showed up. By the next round, coverage #s dropped like some NY Mets Batting Averages. With a lot of 1st Round Stats Manipulation to keep the YouTube Coverage going, these "Soccer Moms" thought that no one would notice a dramatic #s drop. Well, Round 3(Queens County) Coverage was moved to Dailymotion only. But, the YouTube #s dropped a lot in Round 2. These "Soccer Moms", unaware that DailyMotion is the World's #2 Video Service, forgot that the YouTube #s went way down, hence coverage on a new network, boycotted by these people.
By Round 4, YouTube was a nonentity, needing VodPod to boost the stats.
YouTube isn't needed at all. Being associated with Independent Producers taught me a lot about other services. And what's great is that 3 of these services are in our backyard, here in New York.
And that our coverage on these services show that we don't need to load our videos all the way across The Country to watch an event based in Queens. Let's keep it here at Home.

Background & Foreground Acting-Two Different Worlds

Is it ever! In background,,you can pretend to talk, often using your hands. In the foreground, you have to know your lines. But, in both cases you have to take directions from either the Director or 1st Assistant Director or a Production Assistant.
Then, there are distractions, like people walking onto the set. In background, there are people who walk onto the set, like small children did while a scene from "Blue Bloods" was being filmed on Driggs Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Then schoolchildren did. Then an old woman who spoke only Spanish did the same thing. In Prospect Park, this occurred 4 times, as I was doing my lines & role. It can be a pain in the butt, but, hey, you live with it.
Hey, it was a fun shoot, especially playing somebody on the other side of the law, a far cry from what I used to do a few years ago. Of course, when you have real life colleagues who took the same oath as you did, but cut slack for some n"er do well, in exchange for Political Favors, you more than understand the role of a n'er do well in a comedy production, & I played it, accordingly. After doing silent background for awhile, it does feel strange doing lines again, but it feels good doing a supporting role with lines.
You know something? These low budget productions give you a chance to develop as an actor & you see the creativity in these shows, which you don't see on The Networks. These people do take chances, but it makes for a better & livelier production.
Watch these shows on the web..You will look at television in a different way. Thanks!

In Regards To Those Who Forced You Tube Coverage

I understand WHY you had it forced on me to carry the Knights of Columbus International Free Throw Basketball Championship Coverage on You Tube-the sense that You Tube is THE Place to be seen & get huge views, to legitimatize one's "Star Status", has a LOT to do with it.
BUT, You Tube is NOT the ONLY Video Place. It may be the MOST POPULAR, but NOT the ONLY Place. There are other services, which do a great job. Of course I do recognize that most of You, think that You Tube was the 1st Video Service out of the box, but it is NOT the 1st one.
Vimeo.com, founded in NYC in November of 2004, is older than You Tube. It is not a service full of videos which lack any semblance of intelligence. Intense Artistry tends to be the thing on Vimeo. I will admit that when I got called to work in the Web Series, "Peripheral City", by a Director named Amanda, she made me aware of Vimeo.com. Before that, I had never even heard of that service, which I now call "Home Base." blip.tv I found out about, came through research. But, Amanda did point the way for me in looking beyond the Cocoon, which is YouTube.
Now, the 2nd Largest Video Service in the World is called Dailymotion. It has 677 views of K of C Free Throw Coverage. The Coverage, beginning with the Council 5103 Competition & concluding with Long Island Final Coverage, has provided a viable alternative to YouTube & has become rather popular here in North America. The HQ is in Paris, France, with North American Operations based in NYC, managed by New Yorker, Joy Marcus, a lawyer. BTW, the Council, Queens, NY District 28, Queens County & Long Island Final, are all on Dailymotion where one can view a classic American TV comedy, called "Hogan's Heroes."
blip.tv is an interesting choice of comedy, drama, fixit & offbeat shows. The Council's Free Throw Round 1 Coverage is here. Just this round is here, having attracted 396 Views. The Proverbial "Rockstar" of this coverage, an 11 Year Old named Kayla, attracted 20.71% of the views or 82 Views.
Vimeo.com, based over near Chelsea Piers in Manhattan, attracts a much different from the Mainstream type of viewer, often of an International type of viewer, who tends to go with Peripheral or "By" Coverage. Jason Camus is the "Rockstar" here, attracting an International Audience, by virtue of 2 "Post Game Interviews." He has 10% of coverage views on Vimeo. Vimeo was lead network for the Long Island Final Coverage, with slack picked up by Dailymotion.com. Vimeo has 726 Views.
But, YouTube is thought of by me as an obsession with some people, due to the belief that it is the ONLY Game in town. It is not the only game.
Why all this coverage is to prove a point-You Tube is not the exclusive home of K of C Free Throw Coverage. The Contest draws well on other services. And in 2012, YouTube will not have a place at the table.

The #s, Adjusted For K of C Free Throw

Without the 387 Views which are bogus with evidence of # Juicing to protect the continued YouTube Feed & The elimination of iVideo.ie, Coverage #s are over 2300 views, a great # for the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Basketball Competition.
YouTube did gain 94 views, legitimately, taking Views up to 508, which is respectable. These #s will grow over the Summer.
Dailymotion.com went through the 1st Time Coverage of the competition, as did Vimeo.com & blip.tv. By their #s, it means that the competitions have outgrown the need for YouTube, to be a successful program.
The shameful manipulation of YouTube #s by a few parents, whose agende was to enhance THEMSELVES on the World's Largest Video Sharing Service, just cost them their "Digital Narcotic of Choice." YouTube Coverage is completely out of the question in 2012. The Statistical Nosedive from 481 Views to 233, told me that there was manipulation on a grand scale.
When the Queens County Championship was on Dailymotion.com, there were 100+views, but the YouTube Manipulators refused to watch the coverage. By this time, it became apparent that YouTube coverage #s were being juiced.
But what I am encouraged by is that coverage did very well on services other than YouTube. If iVideo.ie is any example, YouTube Isn't needed for good viewing stats.
The 3 Video Networks, blip.tv, Dailymotion.com & Vimeo.com, can do the job, along with VodPod, ShowYou, tumblr, Facebook, Twitter & Posterous.
These are networks which run rings around YouTube, in quality.
Preliminary on Vimeo. ShowYou & tumblr Council Round is blip.tv, District is on Dailymotion. Queens County on blip.tv & Vimeo.com. LI Final on blip.tv, Vimeo.com & Dailymotion.com.
blip.tv feed available via iTunes. blip.tv 2nd feed via VodPod.com. Vimeo.com via Posterous.com, ShowYou.com & tumblr.com. Dailymotion.com via Posterous.com & tumblr.com. All feeds via Twitter.com & Facebook.com.

I Have No Problem With 506 View#s On YouTube

But I have problem with 387 cooked like a Madoff Ponzi Scheme. Legit #s are good. But, due to certain parents & contestants cooking viewing #s, there will be no YouTube coverage of the K of C Free Throw.
Join us on blip.tv, Vimeo.com, tumblr.com & Dailymotion.com for great coverage. Some things are too good to waste on YouTube. The Knights of Columbus Free Throw is one of those things.
