After the Big Encounter Group Experiment, The IHM Nuns got totally away from their traditional practices, infuriating James Francis Aloysius Cardinal McIntyre, Archbishop of Los Angeles. Of 380 Nuns, all of whom were barred from teaching in the RC Archdiocese of Los Angeles by order of Cardinal McIntyre(Ordained originally for the RC Archdiocese of New York, BTW), 315 left the IHM Order. It was the start of what is occurring today, where Catholic Schools often have no religious on their staffs, which has led to the closing of or mergers of Catholic Schools.
And to realize that certain WASPS(White Anglo Saxon Protestants), like The Rockefellers, were funding these "Therapies" in order to ruin the Church-they had(& still have) a fear of a Catholic Ascendancy.
