Time Warner Cable Broadband Is Ruining My Day
So I am writing this on the plaza of the 5th Avenue Apple Store, on my wi fi enabled iPod Touch, 2nd Generation. Uploading videos is becoming much harder to do, thanks to all those dropped connections on Time Warner's Broadband Network. How many times can this bunch act like AOL in older times? Remember those drops of service? Ditto, Prodigy!
Hence, in the next few days, I will drop these mutts & switch to wireless broadband, as TW is trying via nonservice to get people onto their Wideband Service. Besides, Cable connections are way too expensive.
They are ceasing to be a service and are currently a nightmare.

Days Leading To 09/11/01
It was Saturday, 09/08/01. The Red Sox were facing the Yankees at Yankee Stadium II. Pedro Martinez didn't have his stuff that day & Pedro got taken yard a few times:
Outside after the game, I looked downtown. I saw the Twin Towers from River Avenue & West 157th Street. I saw the Twin Towers & they looked beautiful, yet I was having some bad vibes & not just because the Red Sox got blown away in that game;
I didn't feel right about something. Little did I know, but it would be the LAST Time I would ever see those Twin Towers, a place whose underground shopping and eating malls I would frequent;
Tuesday, 09/11/01 was a warm & sunny summer day.
At 8:46AM, ET, the world we knew, changed forever;
It hasn't been the same since;
So say a prayer, light a candle & remember those who lost their lives.
Kyrie Elaison!

My Communications Plans Will Cost Far Less
I do like iCall as it appears to be my main call provider on my iPod Touch, using VOiP, where calls can be free or low cost. Virgin Mobile Broadband2Go will handle the heavy lifting on my eMac, replacing the ever slower Roadrunner Service from Time Warner. Cell service is minimalist & handled by Sprint's Virgin Mobile. No more paying $240+ for these services, as AT & T Mobility is rather pricey.

Free Over The Web Via Wi Fi
I used my iPod Touch to call a friend in Colorado. The call was free over the Internet. Utilizing Wi Fi and VOiP, Using a fantastically good app called iCall, I made a free 5 minute call.
Calls over the web are way cheaper than cell calls and doing it from an iPod Touch, is a great thing.
I will be using minimalist cell service & more Voice Over Internet Protocol.

Is Papelbon Becoming as useful as K Rod
Please! This suckathon has to end:
Yesterday, the Red Sox bored people to death by losing by identical scores of 3-1 to the Chicago White Sox. The Red Sox got swept in Fenway Park.
Unfortunately, they're playing like some team, which calls Citi Field, home, full of no inspiration.
Pap comes in & falls apart with 2 Outs.
NOT GOOD!

Say ''Au Revoir'' Time Warner Cable. Roadrunner Online Service is as rapid as a constipated man on a toilet seat.
Wi Fi-Touch-Dodgers & Giants
The Dodgers & Giants, Rivals since their days in NYC, are not the full subject, but I listened into their Radio Broadcasts on the iPod Touch, listening to the 1st Inning, with Vin Scully on KABC Radio-LA & Jon Miller on KNBR Radio-SF:With the iPod Touch & strong Wi Fi, while listening here in Queens, one could almost feel as if neither team ever left the NY Area;M.
Red Sox Wrapup-SNARK
With A Touch of Bite, The Boston Red Sox, Losers of a Day Night Doubleheader on 09/04/10, are my subject for today, as they lost by the Identical Score of 3-1 to the Chicago White Sox:

iPod Touch, Red Sox & Mets Blooper
Actually, this was the 1st take. It isn't always that easy to ad-lib a part, which was done in a small film I was recently in.
You hear me say that I'm sorry.

The iPod Touch, The Red Sox & The Mets
Presently Listening to White Sox at Red Sox from WEEI via MLB on my iPod Touch, 2nd Generation, at a Wi Fi Point outside of my home:
Listened earlier to both White Sox at Red Sox & NY Mets at Chicago Cubs over the wi fi enabled iPod Touch, via MLB. In neither case did the Red Sox, nor Mets, gain a victory;
In Black and White.

HOW Do I Hear Both The Red Sox & Mets Loudly & Clearly?
Funny, but I was standing on the sidewalk, hearing a Red Sox Game as if I was in a New England State & a Mets Game anywhere in the NYC Metro Area. The Answer is at the end.
Playing Out The String From Queens
Baseball is winding its' way toward postseason-a chance to do a short film as well as to do commentary:
Interesting when an iPod Touch becomes as if the transistor radio of yesteryear, listening to both the Boston Red Sox & NY Mets Broadcasts, within a good wi fi signal.

To Me, Baseball On Radio Is Best
And WHY do I say that? As I listen to Red Sox vs White Sox in today's makeup game, over the WEEI Feed, I get to hear the banter between Joe Castiglione & Dave O'Brien, as they paint the word pictures in one's mind. "Radio whets the appetite for Baseball & Television Satiates it" is a statement once spoken many years ago by one Walter O'Malley(Funny That I should quote from Him, but he is right about Radio, though it was from my Brooklyn from whence the Dodgers departed after the 1957 Season).
I am not always thrilled with Baseball on Television, though I do like Orsillo and Remy on NESN, Cohen, Darling and Hernandez on SNY &, of course, The Venerable Mr Scully in Los Angeles.
In regards to viewing a a game on FOX or YES, No Thanks!
I'll let the picture speak for itself, with some commentary.
Now let me get back to WEEI.

I'm NOT "Fred"-I'm Marshall II
Granted, this may be brief, but One Should know the root of web filming which is Public Access TV, "Fred" makes a quick appearance.
Time Warner Cable Rant II
ONLY 2 Seconds Longer-BTW, in the 1st Rant, that was converted to Black & White, utilizing DV on iMovie:In this short, Edges was applied using iMovie;
Another Time Warner Cable Rant.

WHY are these films so short?The Time Warner Cable Connection is slower than a constipated person on a Toilet:
I used to upload 5+Minute Films-Now even 30 Seconds is a chore & a Half.
