Things Done With My iPod Touch Today
Yes, Red Sox Nation, The Same Dave Henderson from the 1986 ALCS & WS.
Also wrote an entry for this blog, outdoors for the 1st Time. It was Hot, at 96 Degrees Fahrenheit, but dry at 19% Humidity, so it was comfortable.
Last night on 5th Avenue from Apple's WiFi Feed, viewed NESN with Announcer Boy and RemDawg.
The Sox won that one.
Wireless in one's hand-Amazin'!

At Mass At A Parish In Queens, Today
Normally, a Folk Mass with Children, is offered. But, as this is Independence Day in this Nation, an Organist was brought in, and hymns were sung, including "America, The Beautiful", which caused me tears at the conclusion of Mass.
A Modestly Dressed, Modest Young Woman named Mary Ann, was Cantor of The Mass. She was easy on the ears and easy to sing along with. Thank You, Mary Ann. You had me in soft tears after "America The Beautiful."

Fr Francis Colamaria Is Right On About These Subjects
There were 56 Gentlemen who signed the Declaration of Independence over July 4th & 5th in 1776. All ended up impoverished. One signer was dragged out of his home while his wife lay dying. The British Army took the man prisoner. He was allowed to return home, found his wife dead & his 13 Children were missing;
On Prayer in The Public Schools;
Prayer belongs in Church and at Home. In case of the public school, who would lead the prayer & WHAT Kind of prayer would it be. Father does pose a good question. It is Food For Thought;
Seperation Of Church & State;
No Nation Established Church exists here, unlike England where the Church of England is the State Church, whose Titular Ruler is the Reigning Monarch;
Up to 1940, The Commonwealth of Massachusetts had an Official State Established Church, The Congregational Church, from the time of The Puritans. The individual states could have their own Established Churches but not the Nation according to the Bill Of Rights.
Father did put it this way-there are more practicing Catholics than Anglicans, in England today.

In Regards To Ronan Tynan Singing "God Bless America" @ Fenway Park On This Date
Our Nation fought a War of Independence from The English Crown, then held by George III, in order to beccome a Republic with Checks & Balances;
The English have a History of Cruelty towards The Irish, trying to impose their Faith on The Irish, through Bloody Means;
I just love that Irish Irony of having Ronan Tynan, MD, singing "God Bless America" in Fenway Park;
I'm proud to be a Yank of Irish Descent;

MMMCC On Independence Day- God Bless You, America
on my iPod Touch using a Wi Fi Signal, I heard an Irish Tenor called Ronan Tynan, MD, singing "God Bless America" at Fenway Park.
It was beautifully-rendered.
God Bless You, America!
