Ooooh, that had to be painful. 3 straight pitches? I don't believe I've ever seen that - heard of it, but never saw it.
It was painful, but I know about Mets Funks:
Especially after Postseason Years, because ownership ties the hands of the FO, since Citi Field is rising. Deals were made as if some poor dude was sitting on a toilet bowl, while constipated;
Chan Ho Park? Aaron Sele?
Many red flags are being raised, as I suspect Mets Ownership is up to something, to recreate '01. They lead the fans on & then disappoint them, but many old time good fans aren't swallowing the kool aid;
This year, I'll have spent more cash in 3 Games w/The Red Sox, than in a 5 Game Mets Package.
Ouch....that is like than Yankee pitcher who gave the 4 runs up in a row to the Sox--can't remmeber his name..:-)
