I think El Duque is about 76 by now, isn't he?
And Chan Ho Park can't handle pressure of any kind--he could not even hack it play for the rangers!
If Pedro doesn't come back soon, there may be no team worth coming back to...:-(

Actually these aren't bad moves by the Mets. They signed both to minor league deals, and if neither one makes it or performs poorly, it won't cost the Mets much at all. The Red Sox had some interest in Park before they signed Joel Pineiro. They are basically throwing both guys up against the wall to see if they stick. We'll find out.
