The End Of The Dodgers In Vero Beach
This will all end on Monday, March 17th, 2008(The Traditional St Patrick's Day) @ 10:05AM, PDT) when the L A Dodgers play their last Home Spring Training Game in Florida, which dates all the way back to "Dem Bums" of Brooklyn. Vero Beach is also the last-ever tie with Brooklyn & the Brooklyn link will finally be severed, as the Dodgers move their training base to AZ, in the Phoenix Metro Area, not having to travel by air all over Florida:
It's like "Dem Bums Is Gone" all over again;
I wonder how the Elderly Ex-Brooklynites are taking this? It's like Double Betrayal To them;

Trust me Michael, elderly ex-Brooklyn Dodgers fans couldn't care less the Dodgers are leaving Florida for Arizona. They had their hearts broken by the original move in 1958. Most cut their ties to the Dodgers then.
Now they are going to train in AZ?Good riddance to them.
how are you michael????????? another team here???????
John?
You're right. Many fans of the Brooklyn Dodgers even lost interest in Baseball after the move;
The Mets renewed a lot of that interest;
Yes, Kaylee, as I'm happy you're here again;
The L A Dodgers will be in Suburban Glendale, next year, transitioning everything out west, & during the week of March 17th, they'll be playing in Phoenix Municipal Stadium;
Be Well, Kaylee;
Michael
& with the L A Dodgers in AZ, they've been added to my "Riv List" with the letter "F", preceding their name.
HI KAYLEE!! I left messages on your new blog, but I'm pretty sure they were blocked. I do not know why, but I know this....be well! Your blog friend Peter. Thanks Mike.
