Tampa Bay Should Be Contracted
They have ABSOLUTELY NO PITCHING(No wonder Piniella got out of there):
Save for Scott Kazmir(Who Johnny Franco & Al Leiter had forced off the Mets in exchange for a bag of balls & Victor Zambrano), there's NOTHING;
The Yankthese destroyed them 21-4 yesterday;
I practically lost my lunch over this.

Leiter said yesterday on YES when Kay brought up Kazmir that he and Franco had nothing to do with getting him traded. I believe Leiter, because a good friend of mine with a connection to the Mets told me the Mets got rid of Kazmir for one reason: he had a serious drug problem and the Mets didn't want to deal with it anymore. My friend is reliable and I believe him.
Twenty-five hits, twenty-one runs..yikes.
Let's hope the Yanks have shot their load for the rest of the season!
I think that the load is shot:
In the Kazmir case, why would the Mets go for damaged goods?
They thought Peterson could mold Zambrano into a decent MLB pitcher, and hoped he could get past the ineffectiveness. He couldn't, as Zambrano was a lousy pitcher to begin with. It was a bad trading deadline deal.
It turns out that Zambrano didn't report his injury to the Mets, who could not make heads or tails out of him.
