"Time To Call The Fire Marshall For An 'Arson' Investigation"

It's time to question the Lead Suspect in this case, one Albert Samuel Nipper, as to just what the hell is going on in the Bullpen & w/the starting pitching:

What did you do to change mechanics of pitchers, who were more-effective without you around, you of a 7.11 ERA in the 1986 World Series, which classifies you as an ARSONIST, along with Calvin Schiraldi;

Timlin is giving up Bombs; Beckett is giving up Bombs; Schilling is giving up Bombs; Delcarmen is giving up Bombs; Hansen is giving up Bombs; The "Cask 'N Flagon" may sue for Broken Windows;

If it wasn't for Papelbon for most of the time, We'd've lost all hope; & he even gave up a Bomb;

Where did Theo find you, Al? I'm surprised in Theo's Panic, that he didn't make a deal for Lastings Milledge, as back up to Manny(LOL);

& Poor Ol' Dave Wallace has to clean up this mess, which is as big as some old Landfill in Fresh Kills, in Staten Island, NY;

i wouldn't blame our entire pitching woes on nipper. yes, beckett and schilling have home run problems, but schill has 14 wins and beckett 13. they give up homers but they still win us games. hansen and little manny are still on the learning curve. they are getting used to major league hitters, and yes, they will give up runs. i'm not worried about them. they continue to improve before our eyes. and timlin? he's just old. i love him, but he's old and you can tell.
i can't wait for wallace's return, but nip could be doing a much worse job. plus, think about how many pitchers are on the DL right now. nip has nothing to do with that, and it's a big reason our pitching has been lousy.

Hansen came out of St John's University i Briarwood, Queens, about a 15 Minute Car Ride from my home:

Last year, he was in Single, Double & Triple A Ball, when called in;

He looked good & promising;

He still looks promising;

It's just that Nipper is getting On The Job experience in MLB, whereas I know Wallace's Style & outside of Leo Mazzone, the Best Pitching Coach in the game;

But, even Dave Wallace is coming back from the DL & it may be a rough year for awhile, but I think that things will work itself out;

Always a pleasure to have you on this blog;

Michael, I had a vulger commenter, first being anonymous, and then using an obscene blogger name. And I, like you, have younger readers! I left him 2 comments under my latest post, from today. Do you think that will scare him off enough not to try to leave a comment at any time? Jere thinks so. After all, I am the "father' of all spyware in use today! Read my comments if you have time, and maybe leave one of your own saying something like "Hahaha Peter, I cannot believe he blundered to your blog, the wrong guy to mess with." Let me know. You are a friend. Thanks...Peter
