I remember him with Detroit & Texas, the "Hebrew Hammer", Gabe Kapler:In the last 2 seasons, he was a hurtin';
He will stay on as a coach in the Red Sox Farm System;
He's one of "The 25 of '04";

gabe was a great member of our SOX i will miss him dearly but as they say "you cant play forever". am glad he getting an opportunity to coach though(even if it is just in the minor leagues for now.Who knows maybe he will coach in the major leagues someday.
He was in Japan for part of '05 & then came back & back again, with injuries in '06, Kaylee:
Sure enough, in a certain Knights of Columbus Council, in East Glendale, Queens, there was a Baseball Card Show;
One photo hangs in the Tap Room, & that player wore a Detroit Tigers Uniform;
Yes, he was one of "The 25 of '04";
Gabe Kapler is the One.
