The 20th Anniversary Series-A Major Analysis
All of This Weekend, I will be researching & writing about the Mets-Red Sox Series In Fenway Park:
The Question I ask is "Who is the Slightly-More Competent Pitching Coach?"
The Red Sox will honour Their 1986 Team on Tuesday Night;
The Mets will do so in August;
Be it duly-noted that Roger Clemens is nowhere to be seen, like I give a flying f---!

Bring on Bruce Hurst!
Perhaps, the Only Competent One:
Gooden's Nose Candy almost ruined it all.
Hurst! Boy, was he marvelous that year.
He was unreal for many years. One of the best lefties in the league.
Hurst was, Truly, key:
Key for Red Sox to losing the Series, was some dude, who Gorman made a deal for, in exchange for Bob Ojeda, was Calvin Schiraldi, who in 1985, had a 8.41 ERA, with The Mets & had an horrendous record in The National League;
His ERA in the 1986 WS, over 4 Innings was 13.56;
Gorman thought this guy was gold;
Schiraldi was more "Fools Gold" than anything;
Mets Fans in Game 7, were heard shouting "Bring On Calvin Schiraldi";
Hence, Buckner is not "The Goat";
Gorman & Schiraldi do deserve "Goat" Status, more than Buckner.
