Dysfunctional Beer Boys

Ok!
Josh Beckett, Jon Lester.& John Lackey, partied in the Red Sox Clubhouse during games, paying no attention to the games at hand.
Fast Food Chicken was ordered. These guys also got heavier & couldn't last in games.
Now, both Theo Epstein & Tito Francona are gone, with Francona's Marriage falling apart after nearly 30 Years.
Back to the drawing board for the Boston Red Sox. Looks like the sellout streak will end during 2012.

Why Not Occupy

Fenway Park! And order beer & fried chicken! And ignore the game!
LOL!

Remember When Jon Lester

Went through a Lymphoma Scare? The Nation was heartsick over this, in '06.
Five Years Later, it is as if Jon pitches like he doesn't give a flying f--k.
Lackey divorcing his Cancer Stricken Wife? Should we start calling him "Newt"?
Time To Rebuild!

On Francona

Terry Francona managed two World Series Championship Boston Red Sox Teams, in the Prior Decade of the 21st Century. He also managed in other postseasons in 2005, 2008 & 2009.
I do recognize that he is "Laissez Faire" in his style. In short, Players realized that they were treated like Responsible Adults.
I liked him. I remember when he managed the Philadelphia Phillies & survived with a team, which was poorly built.
I actually remember him as a curly haired infielder with the Montreal Expos.
He is out as manager of the Boston Red Sox. The Guy took the fall for bad acquisitions & trades.
Hey, Josh Beckett? How was your Pittsburgh Golf Outing? Did it cure your stomach virus? Or was it a practice run for Postseason?

Will The Sellout Streak End

If there is anything like what occurred over this past month, replete with collapse, trust me, it will happen.
I was at Fenway Park in April, 2008. It should be noted that I sat next to a young woman named Rochelle who is originally from New Hampshire & lives in Boston. She could not get tickets for 5 years at this point until that Game with the Texas Rangers.
This may change rather soon, especially if there is another season like this or a sub 500 season.

Explain Losing At Home

Unless there is a Spy Disrupter(Like Antonio Bernezard Was For That "Brain Surgeon", Jeffy Wilpon), The Boston Red Sox Pitching went Kablooey. With Beckett throwing his stuff that would land in Cambridge or Brookline, the Red Sox would not stand a chance.
Now for those of you who thought that this was all "Peaches & Cream", well, I don't think so. With Fandom comes PAIN as well as Pleasure. If the beginning of the Season was nothing to write home about, so was September, 2011.
Jon Lester has a bad habit of throwing 100 pitches by the 6th Inning & them disappearing, which taxes the Bullpen.
In regards to Jon Papelbon, who may be past his Boston Prime, Clutch is not in his vocabulary.
This was a Bridge Season. Unfortunately for the Nation in NYC, we are meeting Mets Fans at those same bridges. Unlike their team's owners who sent money to Bernie From Far Rockaway while Bernie was getting arrested by The Feds, our team's owners were at least trying to put together the Best Team That Money Could Buy.

"Put It In The Books!"

Ironically &, Perhaps, Sarcastically, I am using the phrase of Howie Rose, who uses this phrase on WFAN to signify a NY Mets Victory. Yet, the Red Sox Utter Collapse in September, 2011, calls for me to utter this phrase here.
This was a SUCKATHON. No games were won consecutively in this MONTH @ All. There was no sign of life from this bunch.
Lackey cannot pitch in the AL East. Beckett throws Bombs which might land in Cambridge & Brookline. Carl Crawford got great money & is not clutch.
The Collapse Is Monumental. This is definitely a "Put It In The Books" Moment.

Fit To Be Tied At The Bridge

Boston Red Sox, sadly playing a Bridge Season.
For "The Nation" in NYC, we are meeting our Anti-Yankees Cousins, The Ever Engaging Mets Fans(Especially The Ones Who Do NOT call WFAN To Whine), at various bridges connecting The 5 Boroughs with each other & with New Jersey.
Nauseating!

"The 'Sweet Caroline' Dispute"

This has been a dispute in Boston & New York for awhile. It is in the 8th Inning at Fenway Park, when this unofficial anthem of all things Boston Red Sox.
Neil Diamond came from Brooklyn, NY, is a Yankees Fan & wrote The Song in a Memphis, TE, Hotel Room.
Methinks, John Henry got his idea for "Sweet Caroline" @ Shea Stadium.

It Is Now Fall

In More Ways Than One. John Lackey SUCKS.
Do I see a new pitching coach in the near future?

In Regards To Post Season On Lansdowne Street

"The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword", but for this 'pen, it has been a case of falling on That Sword.
Then again, it might be time for a new Pitching Coach. Is Dave Wallace in The House?
Maybe "The Jacket", Rick Peterson?

18-9 & The Birds Are For The Birds

Of course, Red Sox Pitching is for The Birds. They can't seem to win at home to save their lives, which is NOT Good at all, but they did win last evening.

Test Run Of Super Network I

I cannot help but to think that there have been 4K Posts here. Sorry, but I have been busy with Video, my current passion. Did 2 Films in March, in one where I portray a bloodied victim in a dream sequence. I love off beat roles, as they are a challenge.

Why Does Theo Epstein, this year, seem a lot like Steve Phillips some years ago?

John Lackey pitched well. The O's starter however pitched 8 Shutout Innings of 2 Hit Ball.
Youk was the Sox only Offense, Homering.

In Regards To Ronan Tynan Singing "God Bless America" @ Fenway Park On This Date

Consider the following situation:
Our Nation fought a War of Independence from The English Crown, then held by George III, in order to beccome a Republic with Checks & Balances;
The English have a History of Cruelty towards The Irish, trying to impose their Faith on The Irish, through Bloody Means;
I just love that Irish Irony of having Ronan Tynan, MD, singing "God Bless America" in Fenway Park;

I'm proud to be a Yank of Irish Descent;

MMMCC On Independence Day- God Bless You, America

As I am listening to both the Red Sox - Orioles over the MLB Radio Feed as well as Mets Washington over that same feed via WFAN,
on my iPod Touch using a Wi Fi Signal, I heard an Irish Tenor called Ronan Tynan, MD, singing "God Bless America" at Fenway Park.
It was beautifully-rendered.
God Bless You, America!
