The Post PC Era
Somebody I know, no longer has a PC. He does his computing via Apple's iPad.
I use my Apple iPod Touch 4G, to take care of things. I have no need for a big computer.
If one remembers Apple's Newton Line, the trend away from big computers, began then in the 1990s. This culminated when iOS 5 made the iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch, independent devices. The same can be said for Android.
