One wonders what YouTube says about our current trends?
It may hold the key, in that Digitally-Connected America is a culture of quick sound bytes & mind numbing blandness, punctuated by inanity.
And You Wonder WHY I Prefer Vimeo? People who view, tend to utilize their minds more often than not. I also like to utilize DailyMotion, also noted for intelligent & artistic video. I actually discovered that coverage, produced by moi, of the Knights Of Columbus Int'l Free Throw Basketball Championship, District 28Queens, NY, which appeared on DailyMotion.com, was also webcast on RTL's Belgian Website.
A Clip from YouTube, connected to the Free Throw, produced by me, ended up on a Betting Website.
Perhaps, in the spirit of Mockery, which Shane Dawson produces so well, in between episodes, if the parents of Free Throw Contestants & the contestants themselves, whine about the lack of YouTube Coverage, a Snarky look in the form of a Limited Web Series, will take effect on YouTube. "The Video-Fams Of East Tottentown", will make its' debut on YouTube(With Previews On Vimeo of course). Paul "Fitzy" Fitzgerald would be proud.
