Next Monday Is The Feast Of Mary's Nativity And There Will Be a Traditional Latin Mass At St Margaret's In Middle Village At 7:00PM
You have heard the Good News:
Pax Vobiscum;
The Traditional Latin Mass of All Time will be offered at St Margaret's Church in Middle Village, Queens on Monday, September 8th, 2008, at 7:00PM. There will be a Schola to sing Hymns and Prayers;
Vox Populi-Vox Dei;
Vox Haugen-Haas Music will NOT be sung nor heard;
Here, We and The Priest, are facing East towards Jerusalem and to God, for the Priest is The Alter-Christus, offering a Sacrifice, as it is a Bloodless Sacrifice, called the Holy Sacrifice Of The Mass;
Because Of The Motu Proprio of July 7th, 2007, effective September 14th, 2007, The Traditional Latin Mass may be offered, if People and Priest so desire;
To the best of my knowledge, outside of places designated by the Brooklyn Diocese as Traditional Latin Mass Sites, this is the 1st time in many years that a Traditional Latin Mass will be offered in a Regular Parish Church;
This being the Traditional Latin Mass, it does attract many people of all ages, a lot of it being a Younger Crowd, who look for something true and not contrived;
Pax Vobiscum;
Directions to St Margaret's Church-Take Q29 or Q45 M T A Bus to Juniper Valley Rd and 80th Street. You'll be right there. Or take M T A Q54 Bus to Metropolitan Avenue and 80th Street, and then walk northbound on 80th Street, where one can reach the Church Entrance;
Pax Vobiscum;
In Nomini Patris, Et Filli, Et Spiritu Sancti, Amen!
