True, but I look at factors, such as prior injuries:

Gives Pap & Okajima, some breathing room
It's that Curt is now prone to breakdowns
I think you're about the only Red Sox fan who doesn't like this deal. It gives the Sox a KILLER bullpen, and Theo is being universally applauded on it.
