"Matt Long, A Strike & Recovery+Memories"

If You Click on the title, you can read his NY Post Article:

However, I prefer to remember a Different Matt Long;

It was about 26 Years ago, in January, 1981, when he stood tall, @ the Foul Line in a Knights of Columbus Free Throw at St. Thomas Apostle's Msgr Mulz Hall on Jamaica in Woodhaven, Queens;

He was tall at 14, going on 15 & he shot 7/15. He seemed a bit awkward for his age. It was the start of his athletic career;

But, he would go on to Olympian Feats & Protect the people of this City of Ours. He would also open a Wine Bar in Manhattan;

But, I prefer to remember that Gangly Kid from the Old Cypress Hills Neighborhood, playing in the Woodhaven Council Knights of Columbus Free Throw Basketball Championship Contest, in January, 1981, @ Msgr Mulz Hall, the Gymnasium-Auditorium of St. Thomas Apostle Parish, on Jamaica Avenue-Woodhaven;

I can imagine his feats in the Triathalon in NYC;

Please Matt;
I want you at that foul line, again;
It would be a start;
Thanks;

Mike Leggett,
Past Grand Knight-5103;

PS: Make it 13/15 For Old Time Sake, PLEASE?
Thanks!

PPS: Roger Touissant of TWU;
Read this. It MIGHT Teach You About The Human Spirit;
Thanks!
