He actually produced a Delaware County Knights Of Columbus Track Meet, which is seen on Daily Motion. I find that Daily Motion is a great video service for the 2011 Knights Of Columbus International Free Throw Basketball Championship. The quality of video is way, way better than You Tube. I often place my favorite Vimeo Videos on Daily Motion. I tend now to avoid You Tube like The Plague. Standard & High Definition Videos look good on Daily Motion, which actually predates You Tube. Certain You Tube Shows like "The Annoying Orange", barely draw views on Daily Motion. Then, again, the audience on Daily Motion has no use for the idiotic. Daily Motion is the 1st Video Sharing Service to sign deals with major television distributors in France & The USA. Daily Motion has reach in Europe. The 2011 Queens District 28 Portion of The Knights Of Columbus International Free Throw Basketball Championship, was carried on the video site called RTL.be. This coverage is also on a site in Turkey, as an embed. The coverage is embedded on several sites in Europe & Asia, as well as North America. It was during the District 28 Coverage, that You Tube #s were dropping precipitously, while the Daily Motion Coverage #s continue to grow. You Tube #s often stayed stagnant for several months before inching upward. Daily Motion #s overtook You Tube stats in August of 2011. They are almost 4 Times greater than at this time a year ago. The You Tube #s had one large spurt & never grew steadily like Daily Motion's #s. Could it be that the public is not interested in watching this event over the Oversaturated You Tune, which carries 98% of the event coverage? Funny but a service which never carried the competitions, knocked out You Tube, twice. Video is thought, transformed into something visual. You Tube is populist. Daily Motion & Vimeo tend to attract Thinking Artists, who aren't into pleasing the Status Quo. The 1st HD 720p Webcast of The Knights Of Columbus Int'l Free Throw Basketball Championship Queens, NY District 28, in February, 2011, is the 1st HD Coverage of this event to appear outside of You Tube. It is a break with the Status Quo. Though You Tube is what is most mentioned, there are more services which are superior. Daily Motion & Vimeo are the antidotes to the Large & Inferior You Tube. You Tube is NOT "The Show", but a part of the continuing conversation. So be it, I am glad to have contributed to that conversation by, as Steve Jobs' Apple did put it, to "Think Different."
