The Institutes For The Intellectually Challenged
This is what I call Sports Talk Radio. The World of WEEI & WFAN, is a world of Jabber Jockeys & Callers, who exchange questions & answers, many of them making no sense, whatsoever.
I have the WEEI App & do tune into them. Dennis & Callahan is a show sometimes noted for off Colour remarks by Gerry Callahan(Metco Gorillas to describe Blacks in an Education Program). Callers discuss the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, Bruins, Etcetera.
An interesting feature on the station is the "Whine Line", loaded with highlights of whiny, idiotic callers.
Then there is WFAN SportsRadio 660, now located in SoHo. New Englanders in Boston & Providence, call "The FAN", when 'EEI is in syndicated programming. But the NY area callers are a bunch of a--h-les. These people think of themselves as Grandstand General Managers. Mets & Yankees Fans whine, especially Yankees Fans.
And you wonder why I call these two stations "The Institutes For The Intellectually Challenged"! Just listen to either station & you will know what I mean.
