To The Film Shoot I Was Involved In Today in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, It Was NOT Mere Silliness
It may have appeared, on the surface, that "Brothers Forever" by Diana Forman, would be merely a fun skit to try out my skills in the Art of Improvisation, with a bit of Salty Lingua Franca, thrown in for good measure. But, there are points in all the madcap silliness, which are evident.
Imagine living 96 extra years on Earth, because of a lack of love between two brothers. That would be, as taught in The Gospels & Catholic Theology, doing one's penance until the Offense is corrected.
In The case of Cord Elam, a loudmouth Brooklynite, a sense of Problem Solver, Devilish Character(Hiring The Best Mob Murderer in the 5 Boroughs) &, possibly either God or Judas, the question asked is was it murder or assisted suicide, sought by Riley Joe & his Brother, Casey Carr?
The point which I am making, in the Post-Warholian Era, is that while big Hollywood Blockbusters entertain the Masses, it is little gems like "Brothers Forever", which cause the viewers to think about WHAT they watched. As I left Prospect Park in Brooklyn, today, I pondered what went on & ask you to support these Gems, which mean a Lot to the Production Crews & the Actors, because this is Real Art & these Independent & Student Producers need your feedback. They are TRULY The Real Film Artists. Thank You, Diane & Company!
