The Reasons For New Coverage Alignment In The K of C Free Throw Competitions
This is an ongoing type of Project to deliver quality sports web programming on services other than YouTube.
This is meant to deliver this programming on a Service which is both enjoyable & uncluttered. For the past few years, various Knights Of Columbus Jurisdictions have carried the Knights of Columbus Int'l Free Throw Basketball Championship exclusively on YouTube, until 2011 when Lansdowne126-MMD Productions LLC, became the 1st Video Group to webcast these competitions on services other than YouTube.com, like the Long Island Championship Final, on Vimeo.com & DailyMotion.com, drawing good #s as well as a More-International Audience.
Vimeo begins coverage in 2012 with Preliminary Round Coverage, with Dailymotion.com handling Council Round Coverage. Beginning with District 28Queens Round, & up to the LI Final, blip.tv will carry coverage. Highlight Show will be on Vimeo.com, from Round 2 to Round 4. DailyMotion is the World's 2nd Largest Video Curation Site For Sharing Videos & will also carry Round 4.
On these 3 Services, there was no spam mail or dumb comments. This is a big YouTube Problem. Another thing is that good viewing numbers exist on these networks. YouTube's #s are greatly exaggerated. But, YouTube.com will serve a noble purpose as The Official Information Channel which will bring the Round & Location to view the competitions. YouTube will be supplemented by iVideo.ie, ShowYou & VodPod, as well as Facebook & Twitter. YouTube is The 1st Place Contest Viewers turn to & hence its' benefits as Information Channel are inherent.
